Went to Askham grange cafe today Sunday 13th April with my Daughter and Grandson, the food was lovely and the staff were too, they made us feel very welcome, even though we got there around 30 -40 mins before closing n I'm fussy n changed my mind x2 as to what cake I wanted, these ladies wernt phased at all. Very polite and friendly, would defo visit again!! The ladies are a credit to Askham grange cafe!!!
Just excellent! Huge cake slices, great prices and service. The last time I was there, my food was on the outside table before I even got to it! Unbeatable.
An impromptu visit to the coffee shop today! We were looking for a local cafe to meet up and found this hidden gem! It was very busy but we managed to get a table. The food from the neighbouring tables looked good! We ordered a meal deal consisting of a sandwich (comes with salad/crisps), cake and hot drink. A waitress came to take our order. We couldn’t believe how popular it was and how reasonable the prices were. When the food came, the portions were generous!! The food was fresh and tasty. We couldn’t eat the cake and asked for a box to take home. The staff were friendly and we will definitely return again. They had seating outside and also dog friendly! We will peruse the garden centre too as ran out of time today!!

This place is a right little gem! Good choice of eats at really reasonable prices. Had freshly made sandwich, with salad and crisps, massive piece of cake and a coffee, all for 7.50!! Staff are very polite and really friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Me and two friends were traveling to The Lakes and stopped for coffee. We didn't want anything to eat but the staff were very friendly and obliging. We did see food brought out and it looked delicious.
Lovely place run by lovely people. The jacket potatoes were very filling and very good value. We had a meal deal but were too full to eat the cake so we took them home to enjoy later. The photograph of the cake is just one portion! The cafe is dog friendly and the staff gave our little dog a sausage so he was happy too .
Called in today while out on motorbikes. Lovely cuppa and cake. Excellent value. Lovely service. Also bought a small gift for my mum. Highly recommend going.
